Construction Contract Law and Management Academy now available

Our new Construction Contracts Law and Management Academy provides construction professionals with up-to-date and comprehensive coverage of the legislation, administration and management of construction contracts with practical examples of working with JCT, NEC3, and FIDIC contracts. 

The Academy consists of more than 35 hours of elearning divided into 73 courses which each take approximately 30-minutes to complete. These courses are grouped into four 'Learning Paths' as follows:

        Learning Path: Fundamentals of Contractual Disputes and Defect Liabilities

        Fundamentals of UK Construction Industry and Key RolesDirector General of MI5 once said this about the construction industry '...the Thames House Refurbishment was fraught with difficulties. It was clear that dealing with the building industry was just as tricky as dealing with the KGB.'. 

        This sentiment is also reinforced by the National Construction Contracts and Law Survey that found that 30% of firms had been involved in at least one dispute in the previous 12 months. The Fundamentals of Contractual Disputes and Defect Liabilities is aimed at those in the construction industry who get involved in disputes from time to time, whether on behalf of employers, contractors or subcontractors, but who do not specialise in disputes work.           If you are you new to the construction industry and you are looking to get a good grounding about the industry, institutions, and professions that have helped shape it? Then this learning path of five courses is for you. The courses have been designed to give a greater understanding of UK construction contract law.
