EU nature restoration law - boosting biodiversity across Europe

On 22 June 2022, the European Commission proposed a new nature restoration law in a bid to reverse decades of biodiversity loss across Europe.

The law, which is the first ever legislation that explicitly targets the restoration of Europe's nature, forms part of the wider EU Biodiversity Strategy and aims to transform the approach to biodiversity within Member States. This course will walk you through why it is needed and how will these changes will be implemented.
