Brief Overview of the Contractor's Design Obligations
The contractor's paramount obligation is to 'complete the design for the Works and carry out and complete the construction of the Works'.
The contractor is required to complete the design in accordance with the employer's requirements and under clause 2.1 this obligation also extends to compliance with any change to the requirements instructed by the employer.
