NEC4 TSC Service Manager Notification Template

Use this free downloadable template to help you create a Service Manager Notification under the NEC4 Term Service Contract (TSC). 

The TSC places great emphasis on effective communication between the parties and one of the ways it accomplishes this is by requiring one party to notify the other of certain events and circumstances. 

You can use this NEC4 TSC template for a Service Manager’s Notification of the following: 

• Notify under clause 13.2 of an address to receive communications
• Notify under clause 13.5 of an agreement to extend the reply for a communication
• Notify under clause 14.2 of the delegation of an action or actions
• Notify under clause 14.2 of the cancellation of a delegation
• Notify under clause 17.1 of an ambiguity or inconsistency
• Notify under clause 17.2 of an illegal or impossible requirement
• Notify under clause 19.1 of a Task Order
• Notify under clause 19.4 of an agreement to extend the period to submit a quote or reply to a submission
• Notify under clause 19.4 of the assessment of the pricing for a Task
• Notify under clause 23.2 of the amount to be paid as the Contractor failed to provide services
• Notify under clause 24.3 of an agreement that subcontract documents should not be submitted
• Notify under clause 25.2 to provide access to the work being done and Plant and Materials being stored
• Notify under clause 54.3 of the preliminary assessment of the Contractor’s share (main Option C)
• Notify under clause 54.4 of the final assessment of the Contractor’s share (main Option C)
• Notify under clause 85.1 of the cost of insurance provided by the Client

For simplicity, you can also use this template for an ‘assessment’ under clauses 23.2, 54.3 and 54.4, and ‘inform’ under clauses 13.5 and 92.2).
