Use this free downloadable template to help you put together a Contractor response of a compensation event quotation under the NEC3 Engineer and Construction Subcontract (ECS).
Upon receipt of the quotation the Contractor, in accordance with clause 62.3, can instruct the Subcontractor to submit a revised quotation (only after explaining their reasons for doing so), accept this or notify that they will be making their own assessment which may happen in certain circumstances such as the Subcontractor not submitting a quotation and details of his assessment within the time allowed.
