Early warning is a core process in NEC contracts requiring the project team to notify, manage and mitigate risks which could impact upon time, cost or quality.
Following notification, the Contractor and Subcontractor are required to co-operate to make and consider proposals to mitigate each risk.
You can use this NEC3 ECSC template for Contractor’s or Subcontractor’s notifications of early warning under clause 16.1.
