This course provides detailed guidance for users of NEC, JCT and FIDIC forms of contract in determining the procurement and contract strategies to achieve project objectives and in the application of contracts in meeting these strategies.

This course provides construction professionals with an up-to-date and comprehensive coverage of the legislation, administration and management of construction contracts with practical examples of working with JCT, NEC3, and FIDIC contracts.

This 1 day course is part of the Construction Contracts Law and Management Training (CCLM) Programme and specifically covers the following areas:

  • Responsibility for design
  • A brief overview the Employer' obligation and role of the contract administrator
