This course provides an overview of design liabilities in construction and provides an overview of some of the factors a court will take into account in deciding whether or not a designer is in breach of legal obligations.
After studying this course, you should be able to:-
1. Identify how the law defines design obligations, and which participants in the construction process may be liable in respect of design faults.
2. Examine the legal responsibility for design, exploring the architect, the contractor, and the sub-contractor role with reference common forms of contract.
